On that day at the end of May, everything looked perfect: the deep green of the vineyards, the blue sky, the sweet chirping of birds, the intense flower scent, and freshly cut grass all around.
We planned each wedding detail to empathize and tell the place’s identity: an old barred was used as a ceremony altar, wildflowers to adorn the scene, a ring holder made of cork, an ape car as a mean of transport to move around the estate and a fabulous dinner cooked with farm to table ingredients.
For dinner, we chose typical dishes of the Tuscan peasant tradition cooked with ingredients exclusively produced in the estate: oil, wine, hand-made fettuccini, and vegetables straight from the garden. It was all about the local scents and flavors so that they could experience a different and authentic side of the Tuscan tradition.
The atmosphere breathed in that day was very pleasant, unconventional, and truly off the box.
Despite being a countryside wedding, Michele wanted to wear her wedding dress again. You should have seen the spouse’s eyes: they were filled with joy, love, and happiness, wishing that day could never end.
