Villa Astor is not only a unique place for its location and its extraordinary garden overlooking the coast, but it is also a setting rich in precious works of art, both pictorial and sculptural. Majestic and elegant like a noble Neapolitan lady, the Villa has welcomed many famous people over the years and has been the setting for famous film productions. Its natural beauty, enriched by art and history, blends to create an experience of unique and unforgettable emotions.
The couple and their guests experienced indescribable emotions throughout the event. We chose the garden overlooking the sea for the ceremony, offering a breathtaking view of Mount Vesuvius, the volcano that towers over the Bay of Naples with its majestic presence, a symbolic icon of the city known throughout the world. This view offered an extraordinary and unique feeling of infinity for every guest present. The floral arrangement was enriched with refined compositions of white roses, which elegantly and stylishly emphasized the natural and artistic surroundings, without ever being intrusive. White was also chosen for the vintage-style wrought-iron chairs, which perfectly complemented the stunning natural beauty of the venue chosen for Yin and Yvonne’s ceremony.
Everyone present was moved by the talented violinist and the singer’s extraordinary voice. We managed to engage all the senses at the same time, creating a moment of the highest level full of emotion, representative of the uniqueness of Italian style. The reception was held in another part of Villa Astor’s vast garden, where we set up a long imperial table and six round tables with powder-blue tablecloths, arranged in a semicircle like an embrace around the bride and groom’s table. For the floral arrangement of the reception, we chose to add to the white used for the ceremony a touch of blue, recalling the sky and sea of the Amalfi Coast, and a touch of yellow, inspired by the sun and lemons of Sorrento. Every place in Italy has its own identity, and these two colors perfectly represent the Amalfi Coast. For the graphic coordination, a custom logo was created with the couple’s initials surrounded by flowers and fruits typical of the Coast. The famous majolica tiles from Vietri sul Mare were used to line the bar counters.
A dinner show, accompanied by a fantastic group of professional dancers and singers, amazed all the guests with their skills, making them dance and go wild all night long.
And like any self-respecting destination wedding, there was no shortage of pizza at midnight, prepared in a wood-fired oven according to the best Neapolitan tradition, and an open bar that helped keep all guests happy from the aperitif until the end of the event.
