The location we chose for them was Velona resort Castle, Thermal Spa, and Winery, located in the heart of Val D’Orcia with a stunning panoramic view over the Sienese hills. A magic place, surrounded by oak and olive groves, close to the area where the famous Brunello Di Montalcino is produced.
Their symbolic ceremony took place on the highest tower of the castle,e with a 360 ° panoramic view over the Tuscan hills. The view was simply breathtaking, offering a deep feeling of freedom and immensity: basically a natural, evocative, and moving setting. That’s why we also thought to add an hexagonal wooden structure that could frame that special moment.
As a background, we chose some music linked to the most important moments of Marcelo and Fabiana’s love story. In the end, the landscape, the music, their look, their authenticity, little David’s sweetness, the heartwarming love of their family and friends helped us out to create a unique, engaging, and moving atmosphere.
The spouses wished to have a very informal wedding. That’s why it came out to our mind the idea of creating a very original arrangement in contrast with the castle style.
We added pearl gray sofas combined with white and green puff and cushions, adorned with tropical plant draws, rope lanterns, hexagonal chandeliers in copper colors, and small glass and porcelain objects to the color palette.
We then continued with a great aperitif while contemplating a stunning sunset over the Tuscan hills, followed by an unusual pizza party and tons of Brunello di Montalcino.
The evening went on with a rich open bar, great music, and a lot of joy.
Such a great experience made us realize, once again, that Life is truly made of simple and authentic little moments.
